Gaafaru sits apart from the main North Malé Atoll, encircled by an elliptical reef that holds Burulu Falhu—one of the Maldives' largest natural lagoons, where visibility can reach up to 25 metres. Swim alongside green sea turtles or snorkel and dive around shipwrecks quietly beneath the surface.
The island is home to a close-knit fishing community of around 1,300 people. Morning prayers shape the tone of the day, as boats leave at sunrise for fishing. A Maldives that remains genuinely authentic.
We serve daily buffet spreads for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring a rich mix of Maldivian, Sri Lankan, and Indian flavours, followed by delicious desserts.
Our selections are fresh, varied, and change daily, ensuring a unique dining experience throughout your stay. Italian options can be arranged on request, and all meals are prepared in a halal kitchen.
Dietary preferences are catered to with care. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options can easily be arranged with prior notice.
